There are zillions of chinese herbal slimming pills diet plans on the market as well as pills, potions, and powders. They'll all tell you what to eat, what not to eat, and when to eat it, and the instructions will put you to sleep reading them, and guess what? Very few of them work.

There are two guaranteed things that will make you lose weight, diet and exercise. We'll start with dieting. The keyword here is calories, the average human being burns off 3350 calories in the course of a normal day. Got that? 3350 calories. That’s without an exercise program. There are 3500 calories in a pound, so if you want to lose weight, you keep your calorie intake under 3350, anything less will make you lose weight and anything more will make you gain weight. The average person needs a minimum of 1200 calories a day, so be sure to keep it at least that number.

The secret here is to find foods you like that are low calorie, doesn't matter if it’s that new fangled diet food on the grocers shelf, what’s important is that you like what you are eating. For example, I love egg rolls, I could eat them all day. I don't, but I could. Egg rolls are made with meat,vegetables,and bread and are only 150 calories each, so figure 1 for breakfast, 2 for lunch, and three for dinner, thats only 900 calories a day, far below the minimum daily requirement, so find something you enjoy and just pig out.
